I was unlucky enough to get a flat tyre on my Gen 3 T3 after owning it for just three weeks. I was able to remove the normal wheel nuts but not the locking nut using the tools provided with the car. From what I can see the problem is either that the locking nut key does not sit deep enough, the not was on too tight, or the most likely that the angle of the wheel brace provided with the car does not work well with these nuts. Obviously the problem could also be a combination of all three.
I have spoken to the dealer and been advised that none of these things are correct and that I must not have been using them correctly. Stange that as even the RAC technician struggled to remove the nut also.
HAs anuone else had similar problems?
