When we got our Spirit 6 months ago they tried to sell us a maintaince contract and a gap insurance, which we declined, today we had a letter offering an insurance on the tyres and key loss, both at £99 each or £180 for both. with the key thing, they will cover up to £500 for new locks and keys, you would have to be right unlucky to lose both keys and the tab with the key number on it, we will give that a miss

Well I have recently had two letters trying to sell me service cover. First was a discount on my first 3 services if I paid up front and the second letter was for the first 6 services!!
No. I do not want this. That is why I didn't respond to the first letter!!! Aghhh.

My house insurance company offered me complete cover for both house and car keys for an extra £20 per year this included the cost of 3 overnight stays if I was stranded.
It may be worth exploring that possibility:)
