I got my hands on a 2006 T-Spirit today, and it seems the as-new configuration included every single optional extra, including the "Bluetooth Complimentary Kit" for charging phones. It may or may not be marketed in some lost corners of toyota.co.uk as a THF25 hands-free kit.
Now, this thing works using a cradle system, where you guy a cradle for your phone model, and plug the cradle into the base plate in the car. The only cradle which came with the car looks like it's designed for a Sony Ericsson T630, which is a bit, um, ancient. I need a cradle for my rather less ancient HTC Hero.
As far as I can determine, the THF25 (or whatever you want to call it) base station looks remarkably like a THB Bury system, and I'd go as far as to say there's a 99% chance of a Bury cradle (which is rather easier to find than a Toyota-branded cradle) fitting. But, and there's always a but, it appears that there are two different Bury systems which look like the Toyota system - System 8 and System 9.
So. Does anyone else have a Toyota hands-free kit, and know more about it than I do? Anyone using Bury cradles who can advise?
Thanks.
