I don't have the anti-theft code for my radio and need help. Any suggestions.

What type of radio is it? which model is it from?

Radio codes are normally scanned in against VIN at manufacturing plant.

Any Toyota dealer should be able to recover it for you..............providing you have proof of purchase.

If that's the case and it's the original stereo wouldn't it be more likely to be proof of ownership not purchase ?

No Toyotas ever came with codes built in from factory, all the latest models dont have codes at all. The earlier models had coded stereos but it was upto the first owner to activate & input a code, sometimes the original dealer would do this & make a note of the code usually the last 5 digits of the VIN. To decode any stereo Toyota dealers have to remove it & send it to Autosound in Bradford who do all Toyota's warranty work.

Get incontact with your loocal car audio shop and they will be able to sort it out for you at a much lower price then toyota could.
