Hi, I have a 1992 toyota celice GT with the double stack stereo CD and Tape original from the factory. My battery recently failed and I have a display that reads "code"on my stereo now. How may I clear this. What is the code? How many numbers might it consist of?

Try the last 4 digits of the VIN/Chassis number - hopefully the previous owner
has'nt changed it.

So what do I try?
Do I turn on the car and just press in the code on the buttons?

take the serial number of the unit to toyota , prove the car is yours and for a small fee , they will give you the code and tell you how to do it.

i just recently got the code for my stereo for free

ring up the number that deals with the stereo

fax your details to them of the year and that

and they send u a fax back with different codes.

I have nothing being displayed after changing out the battery and ALT fuse (bear). Now the radio is dead, nothing displayed on LED. Fuse looks good.

Do I need a code? The number on the front of the radio is 74104.

any help please with a 1994 'M'' Reg Previa radio 13705, that has gone into 'secuity code mode' after a dealer replaced the battery, I don't have any codes

I have a 1994 celica with stereo #16804. Just recently purchased & had to change battery. Well, radio stopped working with a sec in the display. Do you know the sec code and how to input into stereo to get working again?

I have instructions for a 1994 Camry with a Fujitsu Ten radio. Before I pass on the instructions given to me I would like to make a small disclaimer. I have not tested the following sequence for radio code input and therefore cannot guarantee that I am 100% correct in my translation. I was given the instructions from the manufacturer. I take no responsisbility for any problems that may be encountered.
1. Hold down the tune up button.
2. press number 1 whilst tune up button held down.
3. a sequence of 3 bars should be displayed.
4. press number 1 button until it reaches the correct number for the first digit.
5. press number 2 button until it reaches the correct number for the second digit.
6. press number 3 button until it reaches the correct number for the 3rd digit.
7. If radio has scan button hold it down. If radio doesn't you can hold down am/fm button or power button. radio should come back up with word sec again then shut off. You may need to manually turn it off (I can't quite remember). Turn radio off then back on.
If this works please pass it on. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR THIS INFO.

deekay140, i replaced my battery too, and locked myself out of the radio the deck number is 32804 and its Corolla station wagon 2002 model, can you help?

A 1995 Previa radio 13705 display says "Help" while a key icon lights after the battery died. I have got the code but I can't enter it. I tried all buttons but nothing happened.

I would love any help, because services have no idea.

Hi Deekay,

I have a similar problem with my Toyota Corolla Conquest 1996 model car radio/cassette. The battery was accidently drained and we lost the pin code. I called Toyota service and they asked me to try the last 3 digits of the VIN No. I did that but it did not work . I tried a few pin codes but then the radio froze. It is dead. There is no "SEC" anymore and the security red light on the radio stays at full. it is not blinking when you switch it on.

I think it needs to be reset. Do you know how to do it. I took the radio out and got the following details on it. It is a Fujitsu Ten TMCA 86100 YA160-A. I am in Sydney Australia and would appreciate it if you can help me in this respect.
