Think were leaving Friday evening, might be in our new house by then so we should be joining the M1 junction 21 park and ride or possibly if still stuck at home getting on at the Markfield junction.

kettering is really close to peterborough as it is so cant see the point going elsewhere unless its on route,

Seeing as I am in Northampton and Kettering is just up the road, I may as well meet and tag along from Kettering too

Just not sure where my car will be parked up yet as there are two clubs I wouldn't mind being with and then there's also a trade stand that kinda wants the MKI on their pitch

Last year I followed Ken but I couldnt go that fast coz my rear numberplate was held on with sticky tape, god how things have changed!

what way are you thinking of going? i was gonna go down the 606 from notts through melton then on to the a1 and get off at peterborough.

Most of the Midlands people will be coming down the A14 (either off the M6 or M1). I'd imagine after Kettering, we would continue along the A14 where it meets with the A605 heading towards Peterborough.

The Southern people, I'd imagine will travel along the M1 --> A45 to the A605.

Not sure what's on route along the A605 for a suitable meet point... but prolly the A14/A605 juction (there's a motel of sorts just off the juction) or somewhere in Thrapston???

We ought to finalise times etc... too. I start a new job next week and will be spending slightly less time online. Will subscribe to this thread though...

I thought the aim was to arrive at 3pm to assist setting things up. I have had to take a day off work (Unpaid leave) for my assumptions

I am going to be leaving Northampton around 2pm (Fri) and going there via A45/A605

My Route will start at J15A (Rothersthorpe) Services on the M1 (Southbound Side) and then join up with the A45.

I will start another thread (Northants to JAE) with directions. If you want to get to JAE earlier to assist with set up/get your own stuff ready on site etc... please add your name.

Not sure if i am any more my mate (spinout mr2) dont finnish till 12.30 so he will be ready at about 1 ish. my other mate finishes at 2ish and he is coming with spinout mr2 if he gets the mr fixed (keeps cuttin out). if he dont then spinout mr2 is gonna get a lift with me so we will be good to go at about 1. if he gets it fixed then were gonna be ready at about 2.30/ 3.

3pm is way too late... need to be there about 2pm at least to set up camp and drink beer!

Right this is the final plan from me: my mate cant fix his MR so he's in with me we'll be ready at 1ish so if your still meetin after that then i can to. are you still up for stopin at trowell on the way down from mansfield?

Jaxx needs to get back to me!

I'm not leaving until about 7ish now, so I'll meet up with you at the show.

Have to wait for the other half to get back from work.
