Why unlike other manufacturers forums do we not have a facilty on site for car sales. I am aware you have this for i think for Gold, Silver & Bronze members, but what about putting a time period on it so you just cannot place your 1st posting for the sole purpose of selling a car. What about Forum Users with a track record of site use, i myself have some 300 postings. Surely its not beyond the bounds of possibility to set this up with security checks ie: complete details of proposed seller or buyer that may be attached to the DVLA in some way. Would this not discount the fly by nights, surely fans of Toyota would feal more secure in selling or buying from fellow Toyota lovers.

We have one - you have to be a paying member to advertise on TOC though - and that's in any forum.

The problem is, when adverts were free there were a LOT of one post wonders.
This site costs a lot to run, and for the benifit of prople who post once and don't contribuse to the club. Why should it?
So a decision was made to make it paying members only. Give a little to the club, and get a little back.
Do Autotrader allow you to advertise for nothing? No.
I'd suggest PistonHeads. Sign up, it's free to put an advert on. Done.
